One Day Chocolate Indulgence

An indulgent day of chocolate will cure all ills. This special class is for those enamored of this “food of the gods” but who have a tight travel schedule. Your exhilarating day will include a historical overview of cacao; instruction in the kitchen preparing chocolate from raw nibs; an excursion to a real cacao plantation and Maya chocolate museum; a visit to the magnificent Maya archaeological zone of Uxmal, considered the region’s most beautiful; lunch at a typical restaurant; and a stop at the popular chocolate empire Ki’Xocolatl in Mérida where the intoxicating aromas will tempt you for more indulgence!

8:15 am Pick up hotel lobby/transfer to Los Dos
8:30 Breakfast of chocolate and churros on the Los Dos terrace
9:00 Chocolate overview with Chef Mario Canul, then chocolate
Chocolate preparation in the Los Dos kitchen
10:00 Pick-up Los Dos; transfer to EcoMuseo del Cacao; tour
12:00 pm
Transfer Museo/Uxmal; tour
1:30 Lunch
3:30 Visit to Ki’Xocolatl chocolate shop
4:30 Return to hotel

PRICE INCLUDES
